Couple of new pictures

I finally found my charger for my camera. Just in time for Christmas, I was sweating that one. Things are going great at the house. Haylee is EXTREMELY excited for Christmas. Chandler just loves the lights. Lights are everywhere at my house and he wants them all ON all the time! The "terrible twos" are in full swing. They aren't that terrible, just a bit exhausting at times. Here are a couple of pictures to hold everyone over until I get some good ones. A couple go all the way back to Halloween (pre haircut). Yes, he's on a table and yes, his pants are rolled up in an unattractive way.

This is him telling me that he "is ready". He says this approximately 100 times a day. He put his shirt on himself and picked the shoes out (yes they are on the wrong feet). He came to see me and said, "I ready".

Adios Curls

No one in my family is talking to me. Well, that's an exaggeration. They are talking to me...now. Marc and I have been saying for weeks that Chandler needed another haircut. Marc kept telling me and anyone else that listened, that he was taking him soon. Marc never did this. This past Saturday I couldn't take it anymore. The mess on top had to go. I took him to Express'd Hair and Crystal was so patient. She got all the junk off (I will post pictures later). Unfortunately, the rest of the fam doesn't feel that his hair was a mess (including Marc, who I now consider a traitor). They loved his curls going every which way, collecting grass, dirt, leaves, sand, and the constant look of little orphan Annie. But now my boy has the look of a sophisticated almost 2 year old.

Update

When Chandler was a baby I always made sure I put him to bed in his crib. So that when he was a toddler I wouldn't have any trouble getting him to go to bed. And he always went to sleep peacefully in his CRIB. And do all of you remember when we got him this really cool car bed thing. Well, that cool car bed thing hasn't been slept in by Mr. Chandler in a really long time. He absolutely will not go to sleep in his room AND if we try to be sneaky and move him in there while he sleeps, he's back up within the hour.

I've been trying to think up solutions to our problem. Not that I don't love cuddling with him pre-sleep time. But feet to the ribs and his insanely high body temperature don't make for a good nights sleep. So, I think I'm going to get him one of those plain Jane toddler beds. We may start with the bed in our room since the football fan that he is, needs to watch football as he drifts off to sleepy town. Oh how his future wife will love that....

I would love any input and advice. I really want to nip this while we still can... maybe.

Prayers

Please keep my boss and friend Brent and his wife in your prayers. They lost their newborn baby girl this weekend. This is a loss that is unfathomable to me. My heart hurts for this family.

Laser Tag

The 13th birthday was a girls day out on the town. One of the stops was laser tag. We smoked some man and his kids. We had a blast!

One more reason boys shouldn't have long hair

They just don't understand. You can NOT put toys with automatic rotating pieces in your hair. Luckily we did not have to cut it out.

The Big 1-3

It's right around the corner, literally. Five days from today my daughter will officially be a teenager. O-M-G!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did you like my teenager text talk reference? She says she doesn't want to grow up and that she doesn't want to be a teenager. I think that's just her way of taking care of her Mom. Because the thought of my child being a teenager sends cold chills up and down my body. I just pray that she's gentle on me.
